From the Eyes of Renata

Renata sees Christmas through a child's eyes...and height. She got a camera last year and is still taking pictures her way. She enjoyed the Christmas Karaoke (although we'll remember to leave Grease out next year), Harry playing his drums (there was no question what time Harry woke up this morning), Santa and his elves, Slimecano with her brother (playing being the loose interpretaion of fighting), her "eye toy" (which allows her to see herself wash windows on the tv with PS2, whoopieeeee), and of course, family. As Father Roman said, live the joy of Christmas every day.

Merry Christmas from Michael and Family

Feliz Navidad

Christmas will be at Mom's house. We are planning the second annual Mexican feast. This year there will be a little bit of a Tex-Mex flavor.

The MixMaster (see previous post) will be mixing up some Chili.
We will be making Mexican Chicken (for on tortillas) and refried beans (new recipe, hopefully better than last year). I've already got avacados for Guacamole and tomatoes for garnish and a homemade Tomatillo sauce. We bought Tortilla Chips, Cheese, Lettuce, Green Onions, Tortillas, Sour Cream and Paper plates and silverware. Jammie has also been baking like a mad woman, so there will be lots of cookies.
Mom is making up taco meat.

What we need...these are only suggestions, but if you are capable of making or bringing one of these items let us know so no one doubles up

Olives
Peppers (cooked/sauteed or fresh)
Dips (Cheese or Other)
Rice (plain or spanish/mexican style)

Salsa
Napkins

Or bring any other yummy dish or item to share.

We were thinkking that if we did a BYOB everyone will be happy with the drink selection. So bring your favorite beverage to please your crowd.
Mass is at 4:30 at St. Elizabeth, So plan on eating at 6:00pm.
There is also mass at 10:00pm.

I hope everyone can make it.

Mom will be calling on Wednesday I think to take an inventory of who is coming and what people are planning on bringing. See you Friday night.
HO HO HO!!!
