Fort Lauderdale Beach

Today we went to the beach for some fun in the sun. The kids had a blast! Tonight we're going to the Marlins - Expos game. We'll probably make up a large percentage of the crowd in attendance.

Fun in Gore Country

Next update Monday with pictures from Disney World and Sea World.

Hacked again. Fixed from Florida.

I tried to post some pics but I need a USB extension cable...I'm going to head out to get one and will post something new. If anyone out there in Orths.com land sees that the site has been hacked just log into Blogger and post something new and it will fix it. You can post anything and even delete your post afterwards, but it would be a help. Trip down to Florida was great the kids were awesome on the plane. Check back soon for pics....we'll be heading to DisneyWorld tonight. More pics will be posted on Monday.

Jamie

I've been finding various oddball uploads. If I can't tell what it is or to whom it belongs I delete it. Jim, send me a working email address and I'll give you info on posting stuff.

Florida or Bust

We're heading down to Florida for a week with the kids. We'll be going to DisneyWorld on Saturday and SeaWorld on Sunday. We'll try to post some pictures on Orths.com while we're there, otherwise we'll post them when we get back. Hopefully we'll also have some movies to post.

Here is a picture of Arch Bishop Timothy Dolan from our trip to Rome

The Friendly Confines

We went to the Cubs-Cardinals game on Saturday. We had a blast. We tried to go to the Frontera Grill after the game but it was closed. The pictures are Me and Jammie, and Dan and Kathy. The picture of Dan pointing to the sign is from inside the famous Cubby Bear Lounge. Cubs Win! Cubs Win! Cubs Win! 6-5 in the bottom of the ninth.

Happy Independence Day! This land is YOUR land!

This is a truly patriotic song. Read the words you didn't learn in grade school. This land is made for everyone.

THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND
words and music by Woody Guthrie

Chorus:

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me

As I was walking a ribbon of highway
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley
This land was made for you and me

Chorus

I've roamed and rambled and I've followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me

Chorus

The sun comes shining as I was strolling
The wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
The fog was lifting a voice come chanting
This land was made for you and me

Chorus

As I was walkin' - I saw a sign there
And that sign said - no tress passin'
But on the other side .... it didn't say nothin!
Now that side was made for you and me!

Chorus

In the squares of the city - In the shadow of the steeple
Near the relief office - I see my people
And some are grumblin' and some are wonderin'
If this land's still made for you and me.

Chorus (2x)
