WWII

We were awoken this morning at 6:30 to the sound of WWII overhead. Rumor is, they're spraying for gypsy moths. Nice alarm.

15:5 Win for Renata's Grasshoppers!

Tonight was Renata's first softball game of the season. They won 15:3, and Renata won the game ball for her strong hitting and some good plays at short. Yay, Renata!

Harry Strikes Out the Side!

Harry had his pitching debut last night and struck out the side! Their team lost in the end, but Harry pitched two spectacular innings. Not bad for his first game in the minors. Congrats!

Uncle Jeff Tree

Today, I dug, planted, transplanted, mulched, watered, and uprooted a fence. Not bad for 10 hours of work. Here is my new magnolia tree, compliments of Tremper World Languages.

Renata turns DOUBLE DIGITS!

Renata is 10 years old today. She celebrated by having a crafting picnic party with four of her friends and having a special dinner with mom, dad and Harry today. Today will be remembered as the day Renata decided that being double digits means that you should try the foods you didn't think you liked before. So today at Honada she ate shrimp, onions and mushrooms (in addition to the usual hibachi steak and double portion of fried rice)!

Happy Birthday, Ren!
